Guadalupe River Catfish Caught With Catfish Bait Soap

Lake Lewisville Catfish Caught with Catfish Bait Soap

I set out bank lines baited with Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap Saturday on the Guadalupe River in Texas and tore the catfish up between 4pm and 12 midnight. Limited out on blue catfish and channel catfish with three yellow catfish. Then woke up around 5am and caught 37 more before calling it a day at 9am that morning. Great days on the guadalupe river. I caught my biggest blue catfish ever around 26 lbs and had three yellas going over 15 lbs with one over 20 lbs. Lots of catfish. All caught on redneck's catfish bait soap and cut perch on r/r or pvc pole bank lines. On 7/14 in the same area we fished from 1;30 to 4;00 and ended up with 14 channels and blues.

About Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap

Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap is a homemade catfish bait that is handmade one batch at a time in Saginaw Texas. Our Catfish Bait is made from a 65 year old catfish bait recipe that was designed to be used for catfish bait, and not for washing with. The first thing people usually ask me is "Is it really soap?" and the answer is yes, it really is. But it is not like a traditional soap that you would use for washing your clothes or body with, as it is much softer so it will go on a hook and not crumble, and it is packed with fish attractants to draw the fish in and get them to bite, that's the difference between soap and catfish bait soap.

People have been fishing with soap for years. Many of them were homemade recipes that were made on ranches and farms throughout the south, and then later in years many began using a popular soap made by proctor and gamble or "p&g soap" but it is no longer made.

There are a few other soaps that are sold commercially in grocery stores for washing clothes and bathing that people attempt to use as bait with poor results, because they do not have the right texture, and ingredients! There are also a few imitations out there, we are flattered, because when you make a good product, people try to copy it. Only Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap has a proven track record of catching catfish. If you want fishing success, then Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap is the Catfish Bait for you.

Soap is a very commonly used bait throughout the south, it is just that catfishermen run in fairly tight circles, and usually stay pretty tight lipped about what they are catching their fish with, so many people don't know or never hear of some of these baits that work so great.

Former Texas Governor Ann Richards even spoke in her book about wading in creeks as a child baiting trotlines with soap.

Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap is effective for several reasons. One is that the catfish bait has a consistancy that makes it not only stay soft and be managable to get onto the hook, and stay on, but it also contains a variety of ingredients that attract the catfish and draw them in to bite. The catfish love it! (And don't waste your time calling or emailing me wanting to know what is in the bait, it is a family secret and we don't share the recipe or ingredients with anyone!)

The best thing about the bait (other than the fact that it is one of the few catfish baits that actually work) is that it smells great. It has a scent of Anise, known to be a proven catfish attractant. There is no "stink" to it, it really does smell good. There are a number of other scents and ingredients added to the bait as well that the fish will smell but you won't. Just think, you can come home from your trip after fishing for catfishing and not smell like a sewer, and your wife will let you back in the house again because you will not stink like some catfish stink bait!

The bait is also very clean and simple to use. You simply cut the catfish bait bar into pieces and stick them on a hook. It does not require a treble hook, in fact it works best with a plain old straight shank hook (kahle hooks, octopus hooks and circle hooks are most commonly used here in Texas). There is no molding to do or forming bait balls or any of that mess, just cut a chunk and push the hook tip into the chunk of catfish bait until the hook tip is barely exposed through the top.

The bait stays on the hook very well. It does not fall off or get shaken/knocked off by fish or water current. It is an excellent bait for catfish in rivers and creeks with strong currents!

Another advantage is the cost. If you do not have time to go out and catch your own catfish bait, it is very expensive to buy live bait. If you consider baiting 75 or 100 hooks on juglines or trotlines for the course of a weekend, you would go broke very quick buying live bait. Each bar of Rednecks Catfish Bait weighs 1 pound or more and will make as many as 300 pieces of bait, it all depends on how big of a chunk you use! If you compare the cost of one bar of Redneck's Catfish Bait to 8 or 9 dozen of your chosen live bite, your saving a ton of money!

Last but not least, Redneck's Catfish Bait IS TRASH FISH PROOF. There is nothing worse than checking your fishing jugs or trotlines and finding a line full of crappie, bass or carp, or even worse, all of your bait picked off by fish. Yes, Redneck considers everything that aint a catfish a "trash fish". It is very rare that you will catch anything other than catfish with Redneck's Catfish Bait.

Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap comes in Bar Form, because catfish bait in bars keeps longer, and works better when your fishing for catfish. Our catfish bait comes in resealable packages so the bait stays fresh and will keep for a very long time, even after you have used part of the bait soap. Our packages are convenient and easy to use and they don't fall apart or break like other flimsy containers.

Redneck ships his bait all over the United States, From Texas to Tennessee and everywhere in between Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap has proven itself time and time again. Most of Redneck's Catfish Bait customers are repeat customers, and they keep coming back for more.

Redneck's Catfish bait can be ordered online or through the mail, or through several stores.

Catfish Bait Soap Customer Testimmonials

When I use Redneck’s Catfish Bait Soap on my jug lines I catch mostly blue catfish and some channel catfish. Try it on all hooks of a jugline so you know what depth they are biting and what they are biting. Try something else on another jugline and see how the other bait does, you will be surprised I think on how good Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap catches fish...I keep three or 4 bars all the time cause I find catfish bite different baits on different fishing trips.

Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap does work, I have used it on Lake Houston and Lake Conroe with very good results. What else can ya say, Does it catch catfish?..... Yes.....For juglines, Fresh shad (even frozen shad), Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap, beef heart live perch........equals catfish

Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap... It works when the bite is on... It's also a plus when you can't find any shad. Just bait up with catfish bait soap. Oh, it smells a lot better then shad too...

I keep a few bars of Catfish Bait Soap on hand. Juglines baited with Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap works for Jug Fishing. Works good too, and it is only going to get better from now on as the water warms. The Catfish Bait Soap stays on hooks good, until the catfish comes along. I recommend trying it more than once. Some days they don't bite anything, but you go back fishing anyway...so try the soap more than once if you want a handy bait.

I use the Catfish Bait Soap, 3 hooks per jug, bait middle hook with catfish bait soap and shad or bluegill on other two. What I have noticed over last couple of seasons is will catch two fish per jug when baited with catfish bait soap and works very good when jug fishing midday. Best thing about catfish bait soap is it makes clean up a lot easier. Have not been skunked since using Redneck’s Catfish Bait Soap (knock on wood).

I use Redneck’s Catfish Bait Soap and hot dogs at lake Lewisville and I get a catfish every time on my juglines

You have to try different baits and see what they want. I use Redneck’s Catfish Bait Soap, perch, and punch-bait at different times. The fish will tell you what they want. The best I have done on catfish bait soap was June in a feeder creek in Oklahoma. They were eating it up on limb lines. Would not touch the punch-bait. I use trebles with the punch and circle with the soap and perch.

The Catfish Bait Soap does work well, I have also noticed that if they are not biting, it does not matter what you use.

You guys really should try Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap for those fishing jugs. It really does work. And, if catching shad is a problem for you, you will definitely prefer the catfish bait soap to frozen shad.

Had 22 lines out and fishing with nothing but Redneck’s catfish bait soap by 3:00am. Went to the middle of the lake. Baited 4 rods and reels with Redneck’s catfish bait soap. Put them in the rod holders on my boat. Went to sleep while drifting in middle of lake. Wife calls and wakes me up at 5:30am to make sure I’m alright. Hang up phone. Get up from floor of boat. Two rods with channel cats on them. One about 1 1/2# and the other about 2 1?2#. Other two rods, bait gone. Getting daylight now. Rode back to where I put the first jugs out. Pull up first jug. Two catfish. Pull 14 more jugs. 1 fish on each jug. Ride around all over the stupid lake and never do find other 7 jugs! I guess you would say I hooked at least 25 catfish last night. Biggest was about 3#. I recommend Redneck’s catfish bait soap to anyone. Just stay awoke and keep an eye on your JUGLINES!!!

I wanted add that the 13 blues I caught jugging using rednecks soap were caught in the middle and the hottest part of the day. So this bait isn't just for night fishing.

I know. I caught 24 channel cats on it one day on jugs myself one day awhile back. Good STUFF!!!

I used some of Chad's soap this weekend with similar results. No real big fish a few 6 lbs or so, but I'm pretty sure a few got of because of my jugs. 3 of mine went missing also but I found them over in a cove. I pulled one jug up and it felt like it had a dink on it about 3 feet below the water I saw a pretty big one get off... very strange. They love that baitsoap for sure got several doubles.

My soap stayed on all night, at least a few that didn't have fish on them. Mine seemd a bit soft when I picked it up so I let it set out on the counter in the air conditioning for a few hours. Then put it in the ice chest right before I used it. I was real careful putting in on though, just let the point protrude about 1/4 inch.

Rednecks catfish bait soap is used by a good many on this forum. I don't use it all time but it is an excellent channel&blue cat jugline bait. I've had excellent results at Fairfield, a warm water power plant lake and at Lake Athens a very clear spring fed lake. I've also used it at Lake Conroe as a winter time trotline bait. No bait is an end all do all thing, sometimes one bait works better than others and another time the fish won't touch it. Overall the soap bait is a very clean easy to use bait that stays on the hook good. Try it and see how it works, its inexpensive. Chad has a some folks who order it by the case,an indication it working excellent for them.

I used rednecks soap on lake conroe last monday...the bite was slow but 4 out of the 5 fish i got were on redneck's soap

That soap will stay on the hook, yes and be there the next morning...unless Mr. kitty comes by. Rednecks bait soap will catch fish and will stay on the hook. I keep 4-5 bars of it on hand. When I jug fish I take some with me. I still use shad and other baits, but I throw in some of the soap. There has been times that the only thing I caught fish on was the soap. You just never know what them kitties are hungry for, so I go prepared. Give it a shot.

I put Rednecks baitsoap on a trotline at Conroe one evening, the lake was to ruff to run the lines until the following afternoon. we took 23 blues/channels off a 50 hook line and the majority of the hooks without a fish still had soap on em. This was in December, so yes it will stay on the hook and catch as well. I had two other people in the baot with me, Ricky cutbait Baker was one I don't recall the other.

The soap is a good product, I don,t think the gar hit it, have patience and you will start catching fish

I have caught lots of channels and blues on my jug lines using Rednecks bait soap. I have to say yes, it does work. I have a supply available ready for my next outing. I think it works best, only my opinion, from now thru fall, as the water warms up, and it is warming as we speak.

The soap stays on the hook very well. I have used it on rod and reel and you can not throw it off!! Also, if you tend to use other baits as well, it will wash off the nasty slimey smell on your hands. Its great stuff!!

I have noticed that the soap works better for me right after a rain. I thought at first it was that the bite just picked up after the rain, but I have used cut shad and soap before the rain and caught cats only on the cut shad, but after the rain and the water got dirty, I started to pick up cats finally on the soap. One nice thing about soap is that turtles don't each it off like the shad, or live perch.

For me it stays on the hook a lot better than I ever expeced and dont leave it on your treble hook over night or theres no getting it off. and it goes very far and I wash my hands off with it after handling the nasty stuff like punch bait or liver. As for the stained water it's great turns snow white in the water.

Well we went at it again on sunday night till early monday. Set out about 25 limb lines and a hand full of yella cat lines.
fished exclusively with soap and perch on the yellla cat lines. Ended up with 20 or so good size channels running upwards of 10 pds and finished with 3 yellas (two twinkies going 15 to 18 pds) and third one going around 10. Camped out ate some brautwurst (compliments of mark) and had good darn time. The river dropped about a ft and half from the tubers getting out here in New braunfels so we had to make a few drags across sand bars to get home but wasn't too bad. Every trip something funny happens, this one was no exception. First the button off of my motor to stop it fell off at night and I didn't realize it. I went to kill the motor when we pulled up to a line and CHIZZZIT it shocked the poo outta me. a habit is hard to break and I did this about 10 or so more times cussing myself each tiem I tried to kill the motor Then Ol' Mark (roadoges on forever) finds a good friend in a tree that decides to fall into right smack cneter mass of his lap at night none the less.( a big ol water snake) a this slimy critter comaderes my boat for a good 20 minutes cause I can't see the things slithering under the floor boards and crawling around the seats. Finally the guy has enough and exits port side via a pole. Thank god it wasn't a moccasin or he would have had himself a boat for a home. It was a great trip and lots of good size fish caught. THe biggest excitement we were getting is watching those willow limbs just slapping the dog poo outta the water with big ol whiskers on em. Ain't nothing like seeing 6 or 7 tree limbs shaking the leaves off when going to check your lines. Awesome. The soap was on and so were the fish!

Trip down south of Sanderson, TX on the Rio Grande about a month ago. After we had camp set up, I threw out my first square of Rednecks soap. I was getting my other rod set up when the clicker on the first pole took off. Pulled in a nine pound channel on my first cast. We also fished with jugs and the fish were biting good on the soap on jugs as well. Great trip and I am really impressed with the bait. Here is a picture of the nine pound minus his skin

Put out 10 jugs Friday all baited with Rednecks catfish bait soap. Caught 13 blues in two hrs. This stuff works folks. I have used Zoat in the past with no luck at all. You have a good bait here Chad.

You'll be pleased with the soap! It works and works gooood

Hey gents, in all seriousness the stuff works and works damn good. Less hastle for bait and way different than any other soap i've ever used. Give it a try!

I have used the catfish soap in Anise flavor, not the other flavor I mentioned elsewhere. I give it a big thumbs up and three attaboys, the soap works and works good. When I used it, it caught fish as good or better than several other baits I used. This is a heck of a good bait. No bait will work all time, in all situations, but I do believe the redneck has come up with a good bait thats easy to use, I can and will recommend it to anyone who jugs or trotline I will have some at Fairfield this weekend to show others just how good it does work. I will try to get bigarmed to bathe in it, or just rub some on and let me tow him behind the boat for a little trolling action. I don't expect it to work in that way but it will be fun to watch, and bigarmed will try anyting to catch fish. let him roll

I set a 45 hook trotline at the recent Smelly Jelly Jubilee#4 on Lake Conroe. On the original set I didn't have any cut bait I was planning to use so I settled for my #1 backup bait, Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap. The origianl intent was to rebait that night with cut shad/perch, my choice wintertime bait, but the wind got up and I was unable to run the lines until the following day. I ran the lines and took off 22 channels and 2 nice blues, and rebaited with cut shad which produced 16 fish. I next baited with live perch and took of 18 fish. On this trip the Rednecks Soap out did my normal winter time bait.
jk

Put out eight drifting jugs at Limestone and managed to get a flathead using Redneck's famous soap

That soap be some good stuff. Easy to use too. I see now it is not only being used from South Texas to the North border, but even acaross the nation people are hearing about it and ordering it.

It is one of those things people might use once and nto have good luck, and not use it again...I have fished with the best stink bait in the world and not caught anything, and next time kill em, so give er a try for some fun especially jugging.

I picked up a 30+ flathead on a jug with rednecks soap bait a few months back...thought it was the darndest thing.

Myself and Roadgoesonforever20, Linked up yesterday to do some expierementing on the guad. river with some soap and about 15 droplines/poles. We ended up with 7 or 8 kats with going to 12pds. Not too bad considering we were chalking it up as a learning expierence as to where exactly we wanted to put lines out at and dealing wiht the current. Rednecks' soap was the key! It really worked fast furious once the fish made up their minds to bite later in the day. I am positive if we could have left our lines out overnight we would have socked em dead on soap as running lines during the day is not nearly as good as night. Enstate- Chad's soap kicks some kitty tail! Will be back at it Sunday with an aresenal of lines and rearmed with more soap and do a little camping/running lines all night / BBQ action. Kudo's to Redneck again, I really like the product and jsut don't see any reason to fish with anything else in the river on setlines/drops or limblines, whatever you callem in your neck of the woods!
C.hill N.b. TX

This soap is something special. we got on the water about 8 and tried some different areas with drop lines and set lines and quickly realized we might have to rethink our weights and whatnot on the lines but still pulled in 5 or 6 cats off of the lines all on soap.

Rednecks soap made a believer out of me the other day. I set out only 5 jugs with each having just two hooks. Never fished the area and just was not thinking I'd do any good. I was going to run them and re-bait that evening but the wind came up and didn't get to get back out until the next morning. I had 2 channels and one 5 lb. blue and another jug that took a little trip about 200 yards from where I had set it and found it snagged to a tree. Yeah I'd have to say the stuff works!

Ridnecks soap bait works very well, for me on Cedar Creek, Fairfield, and Lake Athens. I would think it would do fine on nearly any Texas lake. I prefer the anuse scent.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 68-75 degrees; Black bass are fair to good on white Lockhart 1/4 or 3/8oz. spinnerbaits and chartreuse/brown Rat-L-Traps fished over and on the edges of hydrilla. Watermelon/red, green pumpkin red, or red bug trick worms (for wacky-rigs) are productive early around lily pad stems and grass flat areas. Bass are shallow - make sure to fish all the way to the back of coves and creeks. Crappie are good on minnows and Road Runners on the flats and in the backs of coves and creeks. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap.

Well, we went out again, just using your soap. I did experiment alittle, set 11 jugs caught nine fish. I have enclosed a picture. Not sure what the big one weighed, but he was a 2 hander.( so were a couple of the others) Small fish were 1.5 to 2 LB fish.

Chad , caught these all on your soap on the san marcos river. All caught on limb lines set at 4 foot baited on a 5/0 hook. Thanks
Cliff hill

I went out yesterday on Lake Houston, with several friends to water test Cajun Cookers new pontoon boat. Of course we all knew that was just an excuse to get out of the house and go jug fishing. Each of us had our own collection of different flagging jugs, some homemade and some not. What got everyone going was when I broke out some of Redneck's catfish Bait Soap. At first I got a few chuckles, catfish and catfish bait soap? cajun Cooker, who is old enough that he is exempt from having to have a fishing license, helped me out and told the crew. "I have caught many a catfish on soap" Beef heart has been doing very well, but yesterday, The soap bait out did the beef heart Several times we got double and triple hook ups on rednecks Soap. If you look close there are two catfish in the net I have used zote soap and other variations of soap in the past, from homemade concoctions to the zote soap type brands. Rednecks soap didn't crumble as some of the others do, not near as messy as some baits and bottom line it worked. I used approx 3/4 of a slab and was able to bait up 70 hooks several times.

My fishing partner and I decided to try juglines at Lake Lewisville for catfish., we made three jug lines and went to set them out. On the way to the ramp my partner asks me what we are going to bait them with. I showed him the Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap and after he stopped laughing he bet me a case of beer that it would not catch a thing. Being a non-believer, he picked up some shad and decided we would bait the top hook with shad and the bottom with soap. The juglines were in the water only 90 minutes due to incoming weather when we decided to pick them up. Top hooks had one small blue cat less than 2 pounds. Bottom hooks had one blue catfish at 4-1/2 pounds and one fine 14 pound catfish. Being in late June 2003, it was hot and that beer sure tasted good.

Just placed another catfish bait soap order from you. I used your catfish bait soap last month in a creek near Stillwater Oklahoma and wore the catfish out on limb lines. I have got a vacation scheduled for July 9th and I hope to receive my catfish bait soap by then or I'll have a lot of explaining to do to my catfishing partner.

Keith Bates - Stillwater Oklahoma

I set out bank lines Saturday on the Guadalupe River and tore the catfish up between 4pm and 12 midnight. Limited out on blue's and channels with three yellow catfish. Then woke up around 5am and caught 37 more before calling it a day at 9am that morning. Great days on the guadalupe river. All caught on redneck's catfish bait soap and cut perch on r/r or pvc pole bank lines. On 7/14 in the same area we fished from 1;30 to 4;00 and ended up with 14 channels and blues.

Cliff Hill - New Braunfels Texas - Guadalupe River

set out juglines baited with Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap at night and picked them up the next morning one had a little blue catfish about 4-5 pounds. picked up a couple more, nothing on them. Next jugline was nowhere to be seen. I look about 50 yards upwind and see one of my redneck juglines standing on end. So I start to approach it and bam...its under water, don't see it anywhere. I put these juglines in about 13' of water with about 16-17 foot of line. hooks are spaced 2.5 and 5 froot from bottom with about 2 lb of steel on the bottom. a couple of minutes later I see it surface again several yards off. this time I kick it in high gear and am able to snag the line with my jugline pole before it slips under the water. 20 minutes later I land a 35 pound flathead catfish.

Tony Swafford - Wichita Falls Texas

I went to Lake Fork after receiving your catfish bait soap and chummed an area with hen scratch and fished with the catfish bait soap on rod and reel. I caught 23 catfish in about 2 hours all in the same spot. They were all channel catfish that weighed between 2 and 4 lbs and all on your catfish bait soap. The catfish bait soap is MIGHTY FINE.

Curtis Ballard- Longview Texas

I set out about 6 jugs yesterday (12 hooks total) baited with Redneck's Catfish bait soap on Canyon Lake in South Texas and ran my juglines and picked them up this morning. I had five blue catfish that weighed from 2.5 to 8 lbs all caught on Jug Lines with Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap.

Jimbo - San Antonio Texas

I've been having luck with Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap, I think Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap is a good value look at the size of the bar. You kinda gotta have some knowledge in soapmaking to do this.

Jed - South Texas

Caught an ice chest full of fish and it was not our regular cut bait (Beef hearts) we caught most of the fish on . . . "Redneck fishing soap" that soap bait was killin them lake houston cats. That Redneck soap was catching 2 and 3 fish at a time.

Here's what a little of Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap will do for ya! Had a fun time a cleaned alot of good eating fish from the Guadalupe River caught on soap bait.

I have used Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap in rivers extensivly. it works great and is easy, dont hesitate to use the soap the only thing i use on rivers is soap for channel catfish and blue catfish and perch for those flats.

Seth Tieman - Austin Texas

I have a brother who likes to fish for catfish (incidently, I am a bass fisherman by default, and occassionaly find interest to come to this arena). I told him about Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap, he ordered it, and catches good quality catfish he tells me.

HavFaith - Keller Texas

I bought some of Redneck's flagging juglines. I figured it would save me the time and be easier than building them myself. . They worked great!!! It was nice to be able to see when you got a fish on, and only having to check the lines that had flagged. I also tried his catfish bait soap. It worked well. I only caught fish on the soap and nothing on the ones I baited with shad. No more stink bait for me. Thanks Redneck.

Brad Looney - Watauga Texas

Last time I went drift fishing on Lake Texoma I baited some rods with fresh caught shad and some with long thin slivers of Redneck Catfish Bait soap. The only rods I got hits on were the bait soap rods.

Mike Covington - Sherman Texas

Cats were fair on the juglines last night and today. Seemed a little slower than they had been the last couple of weeks but we caught some good ones. I have been using Redneck's Catfish Bait Soap. It is amazing how those big catfish will hit that little block of bait soap.

KrappyFisher - Lake Dallas Texas

I finally caught my first Flat Head. Had to eat this one since I have never tried one. This has to be the best eating kitty there is. Catfish was caught on Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap and a Redneck Fish On Flagging Catfish Jugline. The Redneck Bait Soap is about all I use and have been doing good with it. It is very productive on my juglines. If the bite is on I will be catching fish before i even get them all set out.

KrappyFisher - Lake Dallas Texas

I caught this 12lb. blue catfish on Richland Chambers using Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap for the first time. Left from there to catch a box full of sandies with my brother in law and our sons. My nephew caught his first fish that day.

Bernie - Red Oak Texas

Tried the soap for the first time. Put out ten jugs in '18 feet at Lake Ray Roberts. Got a seven pound channel catfish on the catfish bait soap. I like the ease of use and had no problem with it staying on the hook. Good stuff, Thanks

Keith Bates - Lake Ray Roberts Texas

I want to thank you for answering my questions the other day at the boat ramp (I was the guy in the old Falcon). That was quite a catch you had so I tried the "Redneck's Special Recipe" bait you gave me on a trotline and a few juglines the next day. You were right, the bait was easy to use and did everything you said it would. I caught 22 fish, could not be happier. How can I get some more bait?

Steve - Azle Texas - Eagle Mountain Lake

Rednecks Catfish Bait Soap works better in lakes than any i've ever used. TOP SECRET!!! Dont tell anybody this secret.

The wind has been high and did not want to get slamed into the stumps. I had to use the soap for rod and reel bait. I cut them up in small squares and punched a hole through them with a ice pick, then put them in my cooler to firm them up, I used them on a 6 in. leader attached to a treble hook, the leader then was put through the bait and clipped on to a swivel and fished 3 ft. down in 4 ft. of water, under a cork. Anise bait --- Had 16 pieces of bait and cought 11 fish from 2 to 6 lb. each.one was 17 3/4 lbs. All of the fish were blue cats.

Bernie Warhol - Cedar Creek Lake

My ol man and me set out about forty of my custom pvc poles (drop lines) on the San Marcos River and caught 27 channels on the anise soap. Some poles were tapping the water before we could get done setting them out. I really like the anise bar and so did my dad. First time he has ever seen a soap so consistent. The river was low and it made it easy to decide where to put lines out at.

Cliff Hill - New Braunfels Texas

On the 17th I fished Belton Lake and I baited a trotline with the Anise Soap and fresh cut shad, baited rod and reels with fresh cut shad and nightcrawlers. Caught 4 channels and a drum on the trotline, cats were on soap and the drum was on shad. The rod & reels only produced 5 channels, 2 drums and 1 turtle. This was the first time I have used this soap and I would have to mark this weekend down as a bad weekend to fish, but I'm impressed the soap. On the trotline they passed the shad to get to the soap! Can't wait to try it out on a good weekend.

Phillip Parrish - Belton Texas

It's good catfish bait or I would not say so, I just wouldn't make a statement if it did not work and tell you. The bait did as well as live perch, cut shad, and crawfish.

I tried some of the anise catfish bait soap this past weekend. I was mixing up the bait on the hooks and forgot where I'd put it sometimes, but one night It produced good catch ratios where I knew I'd put it, and the next it would do as good. Put some soap where I was catching fish with shad and the soap produced fish, also. The soap also out produced cut drum. This lake was new to me so I was experimenting with locations and baits at the same time.

I ran across some guys jug fishing the Angelina river in east texas using Rednecks Catfisah Bait soap last weekend and they had several coolers of fish and told me they had caught 4 blue catfish over 30 pounds on the catfish bait soap. That was enough to make a believer out of me, I am placing my order now.

We are using your catfish bait soap in the Arkansas river in Oklahoma and catching tons of blue catfish on it using trotlines and juglines. We have a hard time catching shad around here and your catfish bait soap even outperforms shad on most trips. We have caught blue catfish up to 50 lbs on the catfish bait soap.

I met a man named Rick Jenkins that was jug fishing with your catfish bait soap. He had a 35 pound blue catfish and a whole cooler of smaller blue catfish and channel catfish he had caught on the soap. How can I place an order?
